Catch a FREE Screening of THE WILDERNESS this Wednesday, June 10 at the Utah Film Center in Salt Lake City.

The filmed-in-Utah drama starring Hunter Doohan (‘Wednesday’), Lamar Johnson (‘The Last of Us’), and Sam Jaegar (‘The Handmaid’s Tale') shot in and around Boulder, Utah and was supported by the Utah Motion Picture Incentive Program. Directed by Spencer King, the film tells the story of troubled teens at a wilderness therapy program and the personal challenges they navigate in a desert environment.

Today, the Utah Board of Tourism Development approved five new productions for film incentives in Utah generating an estimated economic impact of $9.2 million, creating over 400 new jobs, and filming in 5 counties across the state.
