The Wentworth at East Millcreek

Today is the day. Santa will be seen at the Wentworth around 2PM. Come see if he has anything for your or your family. Residents friends and families are welcome. Spend the Holidays with our family.

Today we are making Sweet/Southern Corn Bread.

Ingredients:

1 1/2 cups cornmeal
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1 scant teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup sour cream
1 can sweet cream-style corn
3 eggs
6 tablespoons butter, melted
Preparation:

Combine dry ingredients in a large mixing bowl. Spread in a greased and floured 9-inch baking pan. Bake at 375° for 35 to 40 minutes.

An afternoon at the movies.
Every Friday in the winter we will take the chance to see what is playing at the theater. Today we will be going to see Dolphin Tale.

Join us for community Golden Pilates classes 9:30-10:00 on Thursdays. Our Wonderful instructor will walk you through the workout to build endurance and strength.

We would like to invite all of the friends and Family of The Wentworth at East Millcreek to join us on the 25th at 6pm for a wine/cider social to meet our new Executive Director, Tom Brooks. Please join us for a change to get to meet others of our community.

Again we would like to thank our wonderful entertainers for joining us this week. Spencer Hodgson was wonderful on the piano, while Kerstin Tenny had a Stellar performance with the violin.

Halloween is coming fast. I hope you have you costumes and are ready for some fun. Do not forget to join us next Saturday for the Wentworth Halloween Party

This afternoon we will be going to watch the 2:30 showing of the Zookeeper.
