Opportunity Zones 2.0 (OZ 2.0) is an updated federal investment incentive program created under the 2025 One Big Beautiful Bill Act (OBBBA). It provides tax benefits to encourage private investment in low-income census tracts. OZ 2.0 will shape the community
investment landscape for the next decade. The process is competitive and time-sensitive. Members who act early, build strong cases and engage state decision-makers will be best positioned to direct investment to the communities that need it most. For more
information, visit: https://ncrc.org/opportunity-zones-2-0-what-you-need-to-know-and-how-to-act-now/ Speakers: Bruce C. Mitchell, PhD Principal Researcher, NCRC Manan Shah, Policy Advisor, NCRC!
Opportunity Zones 2.0 is here.
New tax incentives. New competition. Limited time.
If you want to bring investment to your community, acting early is key.

We're honored to share that CDCU has been named the Utah Housing Coalition's 2026 Member of the Year!
This award recognizes organizations that have gone above and beyond to advance affordable housing efforts across Utah through exceptional engagement, collaboration, and leadership, and we're incredibly proud to be this year's recipient.
For more than 35 years, CDCU has worked to strengthen communities by empowering people on their path toward financial security, housing stability, and access to affordable homes. From helping renters avoid eviction to coaching first-time buyers through closing to developing affordable housing like The Howick and Richmond Flats, we're committed to working across the full housing continuum.
None of this work happens alone. This award is a reflection of the partnerships, community support, and shared commitment that make our mission possible.
Thank you to the Utah Housing Coalition for this recognition, and to our partners, donors, and the families we serve for trusting us to walk alongside you. Together, we're building a more equitable Utah!
