Twelve days into Men to Mentor: Lead the Adventure, and we're already seeing momentum build.

🏔️ 11 men have taken the first step and applied to become mentors.

That's 11 men who are considering showing up for a young person. Eleven potential adventures. Eleven opportunities to make a lasting difference.

Right now, more than 90 boys across Utah are still waiting for a positive male role model—someone to spend time with them, encourage them, and remind them they matter.

Mentorship doesn't require perfection. It starts with something much simpler: showing up.

Whether it's hiking a trail, casting a fishing line, cheering on your favorite team, or grabbing lunch after work, the moments that change a life are often the ones that seem ordinary at the time.

This summer, we’re highlighting the men who have chosen to share their time, experiences, and everyday adventures with a young person through Big Brothers Big Sisters of Utah.

The fire is lit, and we’re five days into Men to Mentor: Lead the Adventure!

This summer, we’re on a mission to recruit 90 men in 90 days to become mentors for boys across Utah.

Why? Because right now, more than 90 boys are waiting for someone to show up, spend time with them, and help them discover what’s possible.

Whether it’s hiking a trail, casting a fishing line, or grabbing lunch, mentorship starts with one simple decision: to show up.

We’re just getting started.

Meet another incredible graduating senior who chose to spend their high school years making a difference as a Big in our Site-Based mentoring program.

Through every moment of encouragement, David showed his Little what it means to have someone consistently in their corner. 💫

Mentorship is more than showing up — it’s building confidence, creating connection, and reminding a young person they matter. And sometimes, the impact goes far beyond what either person realizes in the moment.
