We were so proud to celebrate this major milestone this past weekend as we officially welcomed four incredibly hardworking families into their very own homes. It was a day filled with laughter, tears of joy, and boundless hope.

We were deeply honored to have Mayor Maresa Manzione join us for these special dedications, sharing in the excitement and celebrating the strength and self-reliance of our newest homeowners.

Join us for our Pride Build, from June 22nd-27th,a week-long effort to revitalize outdoor spaces for families in South Salt Lake. To honor the anniversary of the landmark Obergefell v. Hodges Supreme Court decision, we are hosting a special ceremony featuring Tyler Glenn and LOVELOUD!

To kick-off the celebration, we gather around the flagpole at the South Salt Lake Community Center for a flag raising ceremony and opening remarks by special guests.

Tomorrow Habitat for Humanity Greater Salt Lake Area will be tabling at this year’s Safe Kids Day. Everyone is welcome to attend! There will also be prizes targeted towards children given out about every half hour. Home is meant to be a sanctuary, but for one resilient couple, unexpected medical complications turned their stairs into an impassable barrier.

Restricted to the ground floor, the homeowner lost access to her own bedroom and shower, while her husband stepped into the full-time role of caregiver.
