“I've been thinking all weekend about what it felt like to look out at that room Saturday night, to see people who helped build Equality Utah 25 years ago sitting alongside people just finding their place in this work. We danced, laughed, celebrated how far we've come, and I left feeling incredibly grateful.”

— Essie 🧡

We sent an Allies guest survey via email today, and we’d love to hear from you. If you joined us Saturday, check your inbox and tell us what you thought!

And please keep tagging us in your photos and videos! We’ll share a montage of them soon.

As of posting this, there are only 4 tickets left for our Donor Dinner. Celebration tickets are still available, but not for long. Featuring entertainment from Betty Who, The Galaxxy Band, some of our favorite DJs, and more!

Every dollar raised, every voice in the room, and every heart that shows up moves us closer to a Utah where all people are treated fairly.

Grab your tickets before the door closes: equalityutah.org/allies

Thank you to everyone who came out for our Friends and Foliage Social! 🌿 Moss & Timber in St. George is one of our favorite Utah shops (I mean, just LOOK at the greenery in these photos!)

If you didn’t already know her, we’re so glad you got to meet our Southern Utah Representative, Jaclyn.

If you missed this one, great news: we have another St. George event coming up!

✈️ We need YOU to help us take flight on October 3rd.

This is our biggest fundraiser of the year, and volunteers are the crew that makes it soar. Sign up for a shift and you're in for free to the celebration, starring Betty Who and The Galaxxy Band. 🎤✨

Every ticket, every dollar, every hand on deck keeps opportunity and fairness moving forward for LGBTQ Utahns. This is the work, and we can't do it without you.

It’s a party. It’s a concert. It’s a fundraiser. It’s Salt Lake’s most glamorous night of the year. 🥂✨ With performances from Betty Who and The Galaxxy Band, DJs keeping the dance floor moving, and lobby performers to kick things off the moment you arrive, Allies: Take Flight is happening on October 3rd, and we want you in the room.

Every ticket funds the work that keeps opportunity and fairness moving forward for LGBTQ Utahns.

With your support, in 2026 alone we worked directly with lawmakers to stop harmful bills before they could become law, including attempts to strip transgender Utahns of employment, custody, and discrimination protections, defund gender-affirming care, and rename Harvey Milk Boulevard. That’s just one of the facets of our org that your ticket helps make possible. 🧡

Equality Utah was founded 25 years ago with a simple but ambitious purpose: to build the political power necessary to secure equality, dignity, and opportunity for LGBTQ Utahns and their families. We are proud of that history, and we take seriously our responsibility to carry that work forward.

We understand the disappointment expressed by candidates and community members regarding some of the Equality Utah PAC’s endorsements this election cycle.

Please see our full statement in the images here.

We are grateful to every candidate who participated in our process, every elected official who has stood with our community, and every LGBTQ Utahn willing to put their name on a ballot and serve their neighbors. An endorsement decision in one election does not close the door on partnership tomorrow.

We remain committed to working with anyone who shares our commitment to equality and to building a stronger Utah for everyone.
