FULL Utah House and Senate Democrats Response - 2019 State of the State, with Subtitles Utah House and Senate Democrats give our response to Gov. Herbert's 2019 State of the State Address.

Happy Election Day!

The Utah Senate Democratic Campaign Fund has invested / committed $90,000 that has reached 153,000 voters through canvassing, mailers, digital outreach and text messages.

We've subsidized campaign manager salaries, provided training to candidates and campaign managers, and sometimes a little therapy where needed.

We're proud to report that our efforts have resulted in an investment of $1.70 investment per voter.

We're proud of what we've accomplished, but we're mostly proud of the hard work that our targeted candidates have put in to their races and we're looking forward to seeing how the hard work has paid off for all of them.

"The Democrat from Park City running against Winterton fashioned herself a peacemaker between party lines, saying she is aware running as a Democrat in the 26th District is a "liability" and stating that she would seek compromise as a state senator. One piece of evidence she presented: her husband is a Republican.

Gallagher, a physician, praised Utah's health care system, specifically mentioning Intermountain Healthcare and the University of Utah, but said she'd work to find ways to increase access in areas other than the Wasatch Front."
