OKAY Road Trippers….are you traveling down to Zion in an RV, trailer, or larger vehicle this season?
Quick heads up: some oversized vehicles are required to obtain a permit to travel through the Zion-Mount Carmel Tunnel.
If your vehicle is over the size limits, you’ll want to check tunnel permit requirements, operating hours, and travel info before heading into the park.
Check the link in our bio for tunnel details + trip planning info.

Memorial Day weekend is one of the busiest times of year for outdoor recreation in Utah, and a little preparation can go a long way!
Before you head out, take a few minutes to plan ahead, check the weather, know your route, pack extra water and snacks, and tell someone where you’re going. If you’re heading out on the water, make sure everyone has a properly fitting life jacket – and lead by example, wear it! If you’re riding an OHV, wear a helmet, ride within your limits and stay on designated routes.
Utah’s outdoors are an incredible place to spend the holiday weekend. Help keep it safe, fun and memorable by recreating responsibly and looking out for the people around you.
Adventure is better when you make it home safely.
