The decision by the Trump administration to terminate student visas for no apparent reason is deeply troubling and will cause irreparable damage to these students lives and the student community as a whole. This has to stop.

At the Capitol this morning we met up with Jackson Lewis, the 19-year-old Canyons School Board member proving that young voices belong in education policy. When young people step up and lead, we create the change we want to see. Grateful to stand alongside Jackson and other dedicated advocates fighting to protect our public schools and support our teachers. The energy at today’s rally shows that Utah’s future is bright when we work together! 💪📚

Join us at the Capitol on Monday with and the Utah State School Boards Association for a rally in support of public education. Republicans in the state legislature have started the session off with attacks on teachers labor rights and they won’t stop there. Let’s show them that Utahns support public education and our teachers!
