The Bureau of EMS and Preparedness (BEMSP) is the lead agency for Utah’s EMS System.
The BEMS is housed within the Utah Department of Health (UDOH) Division of Family Health and Preparedness. The BEMS comprises two sections that oversee the EMS System: Emergency Medical Services and Preparedness. To ensure constituent input, the BEMS has three statutory committees, three subcommittees, and various task forces.
