We are looking forward to Friday and Saturday. Here are a few Q&As to help you be prepared for Care Fair.
1. What services are available?
Because of our generous sponsors and supportive partner we are able to provided almost 20 different services to attendees for free! Popular services included women’s services (mammograms, exams), hearing tests, vaccines (all ages), screenings for diabetes, anemia, cholesterol and glucose, vision screenings, free car seats and bike helmets.
2. Who can receive the free car seats?
Parents and care givers who attend Care Fair with a child(ren) can receive a car seat. The child(ren) must be present, as they will be weighed and measured to ensure the correct fit and car seat.
3. Who can receive free child daycare?
Patrons receiving services at Care Fair who have children are encouraged to use the daycare service, and can do so for up to 2-hours. Guardians and child(ren) will receive wristbands as part of the check-in process. We do not provide food, formula or diaper changes and parents will be called should these activities be required. Free child daycare services are available on the 2nd floor.
4. What else can patrons expect?
In addition to the free services list above, we will have a number of local agencies on site to help various community needs such as free legal services, prevent child abuse, poison control, clothing support and food insecurity resources.
