Update! Work has been done.
Water is back on. The system is filling back up…if you have low pressure….everything should return normal. We have flushes on in 3 points of the system….the sample is also being pulled for the boil water notice and will be dropped of before end of the day. 

🚨 WATER OUTAGE & BOIL WATER NOTICE 🚨

The North Lee County Water Association would like to notify customers of a scheduled water outage on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, beginning at an estimated time of 8:00 AM. The outage is estimated to last 3–4 hours while an old water line is taken out of service.

Once the work is complete, the affected areas will be flushed. Customers in the areas listed below will be under a boil water notice until further notice.

📍 Affected Roads and Areas:

• County Road 885, starting at 510 CR 885 and continuing to CR 851
• CR 831
• CR 969
• CR 1732
• CR 931 to CR 1802
• CR 1057 to Drive 1726
• CR 1802
• CR 981
• CR 1742
• All of Lake Point Subdivision
• CR 1634
• CR 851
• CR 1752

Please note: Any driveways or roads branching off the roads listed above will also be affected.

🧪 Water Testing & Updates

Water samples will be collected on the day of the outage and delivered to the Health Department for testing. The boil water notice will remain in effect while we await the test results. We will provide updates as soon as results become available and additional information can be confirmed.

We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience and understanding as we complete this necessary maintenance to take the old line out of service.

The process has began on this repair. THE BOIL WATER IS NOW IN EFFECT. Water is off. We will update soon as repair is made and water is back.

🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨 PSA 🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨
We will fix a major leak on the MORNING OF (9/16/26 in the Mt.Vernon area we will have to cut off the water to the “ ENTIRE SYSTEM “ in order to make the repairs. The water will be off estimated half a day!!! This will be a BOIL WATER NOTICE FOR THE ENTIRE MT. Vernon / 203 system only. The sample will be pulled after repair is made and sent to health department to be sent to Jackson! Once that is done we will be waiting results on it at that time. This will be a No water event for the period it is off. This will cause dirty water and no pressure. We will flush as soon as system comes back. That flush will be in effect until all of the main lines and system is clean. That will also start on 9/16/26
