Historic Saluda, Inc. invites the community to participate in the National Bell Ringing Ceremony on July 4, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at the former Saluda Presbyterian Church, now home to the future Historic Saluda Museum. This nationwide observance commemorates the signing of the Declaration of Independence and celebrates America's 250th Anniversary. Bells across the country will ring thirteen times—once for each of the original colonies—in remembrance of our nation's founding. Community members are encouraged to join us onsite or ring a bell from their own location. As a special symbol of unity, the bell from the historic Sullivan's Temple Missionary Baptist Church will be temporarily onsite for the ceremony.
