🎉 This Thursday from 4:30-6:30 is our first annual Fall Festival at SAE and we cannot wait to see everyone there! Look for Mrs. Womble at her booth to grab your tickets at just one dollar each. 🎟️ Then get ready for the fun — games and activities are one to two tickets, while our delicious food options include nachos and hot dogs at three tickets each 🌭, plus snacks and water at one ticket. 💧 Everything happens on the blacktop, so come ready to celebrate the season with us! 🍂

What a wonderful day at the PTC pumpkin patch! A huge thank you to all the parents who worked so hard on Friday picking pumpkins to make this event possible for the students. We had a blast watching the students pick out their pumpkins today. Just a friendly reminder that the decorating contest pumpkins are due by Friday morning.

School Will Resume Thursday August 6, 2026

Gann Fire Update

Dear CUSD Families,
Thank you for your patience, understanding, and flexibility as we continue to navigate the impacts of the Gann Fire.

After closely monitoring the fire's progress and local air quality, school will resume tomorrow, Thursday, August 6, at all CUSD school sites.

Although progress has been made on the Gann Fire thanks to the tremendous efforts of our first responders, we will continue to monitor both the fire and air quality throughout the day. The safety and well-being of our students and staff will continue to be our highest priority, and we will make decisions based on the most current information available.

As a precaution, outdoor activities will be modified as needed, with indoor activities taking place whenever air quality conditions warrant.

We are incredibly grateful to the firefighters and first responders working tirelessly to protect our communities. Thank you for your continued support as we work together through this challenging time. Should conditions change, we will notify families as soon as possible with any updates to our plans.
