Today our office doors may be closed, but the impact of this mission continues throughout the community. Meals have been prepared, deliveries have been made, and caring connections have already reached hundreds of homebound seniors this week.

Meals For The Elderly is closed today in observance of Memorial Day as we take time to honor and remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. 🇺🇸❤️🤍💙👵🏼

Our recipients have already received their holiday meals, and we will resume normal operations tomorrow.

One of the best parts of Meals For The Elderly is the people behind the mission. This past week, part of our team gathered for lunch to celebrate Andrea’s graduation, but also to enjoy time together outside the office.

We are so thankful for a team that supports one another, works hard every day, and truly cares about the seniors we serve and each other. From early mornings preparing meals to delivering approximately 600 meals each weekday, it takes a village and we are grateful for ours.

Here’s to teamwork, friendship, laughter, and making a difference together. ❤️
