We were extremely honored to receive a generous donation from the ASU Physics Department, which delivered 1,657 pounds of canned goods collected by Angelo State University students!

This incredible donation reflects the generosity and community spirit of ASU students who worked hard to collect food that will help support families across the Concho Valley. Their philanthropy and commitment to giving back will make a meaningful impact on neighbors facing food insecurity.

Thank you to Michael Holcomb, the ASU Physics Department, and all of the ASU students who made this donation possible. Your hard work and compassion are helping strengthen our community.

🐾 Our new official CVRFB greeter is taking her job very seriously! A few weeks ago, we welcomed T-Mobile’s T-Fiber Field Support Technicians Kenneth, Seth, and Jared, who volunteered their time to help sack potatoes for families across our community.

Their hard work helped prepare nutritious food for distribution to individuals and families throughout the 13 counties of the Concho Valley. We’re grateful for their willingness to give back and make a difference. Thank you to T-Mobile for supporting our mission and investing in our community through service!

At CVRFB, we work to ensure that neighbors in every corner of our 13 counties have access to nutritious foods. We do that by partnering with amazing local pantries like the Paint Rock Food Distribution.

If you are in need of food in Concho County, stop by the Paint Rock Community Center.

On Friday, April 24th, team members from the Concho Valley Regional Food Bank attended Bradford Elementary’s Manos a la Obra Emergent Bilingual Resource Night! Our team was grateful for the opportunity to connect with families and share helpful resources available through the food bank.

Children enjoyed receiving crayons, pencils, and fresh apples as a healthy snack while families learned more about support services in our community. Events like these help us build stronger connections and ensure families know where to turn when they need assistance.

Thank you to Bradford Elementary for inviting us to be part of such a meaningful evening in support of local families.

We couldn’t do what we do without the support of amazing businesses like Market Street and their annual Take a Bite Out of Hunger program with United Supermarkets.

For the past 16 years, they’ve donated thousands of pounds of apples to food banks like ours to use in our Snack Packs and pantry distributions across the Concho Valley.

Thank you for your support!

San Angelo, you’ve really gone above and beyond during this year’s Stamp Out Hunger event! In one single day, our mail carriers collected over 22,000 lbs of food across our city. That equals 11 tons! Because of your generosity, we will be able to give meals to more than 18,300 people in the Concho Valley. Thank you for your partnership!

If you missed putting your food out on Saturday morning or don’t have an eligible mailbox, it’s not too late to give!
