We are an accredited 3 year Doctorate Program with a lock step system. We take a new class every summer with admissions open from July to January. Today was orientation on the clinic. The students completed a talk on their program of study and the scope of PT to the University of Lynchburg PA students and faculty. Afterwards a guided tour of Oaxaca. Tomorrow starts 4 days of clinic.

The Oaxaca Mission Group, made up of 3rd year students from ASU's DPT program, put on a 5K fundraiser on 12/3 in order to gain funds for their upcoming trip. The mission trip is based on providing physical therapy services to underserved and underprivileged populations in Oaxaca, Mexico. Their fundraising race turned out to be a success! There were about 20 participants who arrived at the race, despite the windy and chilly weather, including faculty, staff, and San Angelo locals. The 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prizes went to 3 of ASU DPT's own students, two 3rd year students and one 2nd year student. It was an overall successful event and we can't wait for the next one.🏃🏃♀️🏃♂️

The Angelo State University Doctor of Physical Therapy Program hosted its annual job fair with 12 companies in attendance today! We are dedicated to producing graduates who are evinced-based clinicians with commitment to excellence and are marketable to the greater healthcare community.

Run off your Thanksgiving feast and help support a group of local physical therapy students fundraising for a mission trip to Oaxaca, Mexico! Walk or run a 5K or 1K on the Red Arroyo Trail on December 3rd! Racers will receive 15% off food at Next Level Bar and Grill. The whole family is welcome! The race will start at 11 AM at the Next Level Complex, please arrive 30 minutes early to pick up your race number!
