May was definitely a busy month for Peaceful Valley Donkey Rescue. Here is some of what went on:
- The All Access with Host Andy Garcia film crew spent the day talking with Mark, Amy, and volunteer Chandra for an upcoming documentary
- Mexica made her TV debut for World Donkey Day
- Lux and Pretty Boy took a trip for a Texas Department of Transportation Wellness Day
- Many donkeys were sent from headquarters to live in sanctuary land
- 96 gelding arrived from Arizona
- Two new Satellite Adoption Centers joined the PVDR family - Peaceful Valley Donkey Rescue - Spotsylvania, VA, and Peaceful Valley Donkey Rescue - Birkenfeld, OR
- 10 donkeys arrived in Spotsylvania and are getting close to being ready for adoption
- The SAC in Perry, OK, facilitated their 100th adoption since joining PVDR in 2021
- 44 people spent 53 hours spending time volunteering at headquarters

Because of your support, months like this are possible!

We decided to post some signs pointing the way to two of our favorite organizations: 1. PVDR headquarters in San Angelo, TX and 2. Oklahoma State University - in particular, the veterinary program!

We had some very special visitors at the rescue today! Actor Marc Menchaca and actress Lena Headey stopped by to meet some of our donkeys, learn more about rescue work, and spend time with the herd.
