Lake View Art students competed in this year's UIL Visual Art Scholastic Event (V.A.S.E). We had 11 students medal as regional qualifiers and of our students, Jacob Flores, is moving on to STATE! Congratulations to all Lake View Artists 🎨

Congratulations to the winner of the 2025 Art Club Jump Rope Contest, Edgar Gonzales, with a total of 213 jumps. Thank you to everyone who participated in the event and showed competitive spirit. Additionally, thanks to the Art Club members who helped out and made this event a success.

Do you remember in elementary school when you would compete with your friends on who could do the most jumps? Well, Art Club is hosting a Jump Roping contest where you go up against students from your school. Buy a ticket in the morning to compete during either A or B lunch to win a gift basket. The winner will be announced during the pep rally on November 7th. Good luck and have fun.

Each photo tells a story, and together they create a beautiful tribute to those who live on in our hearts. Stop by the cafeteria during school to see the ofrenda and feel the love of every photo and artwork displayed. Thank you to the Spanish, Ceramics, Art 1, Studio Art, Design, and Theater classes for providing such beautiful art and items to display in our community ofrenda. And a special thanks to the Art Club members who stayed after school to help with the setup.
