Back in the anatomy lab with the local Army medics! Shared learning is invaluable; always grateful for the opportunity. The medics also honored our faculty member, Dr. Rhodes, who has overseen this program from the beginning and will soon be retiring.

PNWU students and a graduate at the national AMOPS 2022 conference. This year's theme was Battlefield to Recovery and included many fascinating presentations from distinguished physicians from all branches of service. The conference also hosted a research symposium in which Sam Billingslea & Elizabeth Kosanke each presented posters on research they have conducted. A very important and invaluable aspect of the conference, and organization, is to foster relationships with students, interns, residents, and beyond. Quite an inspiring event to attend. Looking forward to next year.

"A veteran is someone who, at one point in their life, wrote a blank check made payable to the "United States of America" for an amount up to and including thier life."
-unknown
Veterans are the soldiers that come home.
Some come home with new skills, friendships, and memories of adventure and comaradrie.
Others come home with disabilities, losses, and nightmares.
Most have a combination of both.
Today, we thank you, honor you, celebrate you.
But it is everyday that we are grateful for the sacrifices made in order to ensure our freedom.
