Thanks to everyone who attended our School of Public Health's Public Health Week kickoff event! We'd also like to extend a special thanks to the staff from the offices of Congressman Joaquin Castro and State of TX Senator Donna Campbell who joined us in celebrating this great week ahead!

As we say goodbye to 2024, we can't help but take a moment to appreciate so many of the milestones we reached and the impact we made:

We reached new heights in transforming health care, ranking at the top 5% globally among universities for clinical medicine research.
We celebrated UT Health San Antonio MD Anderson Cancer Center's 50th anniversary and a half-century of cancer care and research excellence in South Texas.
We opened the UT Health San Antonio Multispecialty & Research Hospital, the only facility of its kind in South Texas where patients will have access to therapies and expertise unavailable elsewhere.

There is so much on the horizon for UT Health San Antonio. We want to acknowledge everyone within our institution for their dedication to our mission to make lives better through excellence in education, research, health care and community engagement.

Great community collaboration with our UT Health San Antonio team and the San Antonio Spurs for this year's Back to School Bash!

We would like to extend special thanks to Congressman Joaquin Castro for his continued support! His recent advocacy through Congressional appropriations brought much-needed investments to our new School of Public Health and our Center for Innovative Drug Discovery. We greatly appreciate the on-going work and support for our region!

We were glad to have Congressman Joaquin Castro host the 2024 Congressional Art Competition Reception at our campus, this past weekend! Congratulations to the winners from the 20th Congressional District and all of the students who participated!

Congratulations to everyone who made UT Health at Kyle Seale Parkway a reality! We look forward to continuing to serve the greater Bexar County community through our work at our Kyle Seale Parkway facility and throughout our region. We'd like to extend special gratitude to Congressman Joaquin Castro and Senator José Menéndez for joining us in celebrating this week's opening!

Congratulations to UT Health San Antonio Dentistry on the Grand Opening of the Phil & Karen Hunke Special Care Clinic! This amazing new clinic will serve as a state and national leader in dental care for patients with cognitive and physical disabilities. We would also like to thank Senator José Menéndez for joining us on this special occasion and for your continued support for our region!

A special thanks to Mayor Ron Nirenberg for addressing the 17th Annual Community Service Learning (CSL) Conference, this afternoon! It was great to hear about the collaborative steps made by the City of San Antonio and our region for a sustainable future.
