The latest group of 68C, Army Practical Nursing Specialists, graduated from phase II of their training at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. 68Cs spend their first 11 weeks of training here in the 264th Medical Battalion before they move on to their phase II training sites. We are extremely proud of how hard these Soldiers and their instructors work to maintain a first-time licensing pass rate of more than 90 percent, higher than the national average!

On Tuesday the 68M Nutrition Care Specialist completed day 3 of their kitchen training. As a 68M they provide healthy and nutritious diets for patients, their family, retirees and veterans. Food must meet each patients individual medical condition/ need.
SFC Rodriguez said the Soldiers had made great strides compared to day 1, as they came together collectively to work as a team to complete their assignment.

A huge thank you to USO and USAA . On 30 May Glenda Oakley, Corprate responsibility director, from USAA along with her HR team volunteers, sponsored and help with what they call a “burger burn” at the USO on JBSA. Instead of eating lunch at the DFAC, the Soldiers had the option to grab delicious FREE burgers right off the grill. The event was open to the entire instillation and they feed over 800 people.

This morning A few Charlie Company Trainees and Cadre members participated in honoring all those who have served and made the ultimate sacrifice

The Murph Challenge is a CrossFit workout that honors Navy Lieutenant Michael Murphy, who was killed in Afghanistan in 2005. The workout is a CrossFit “hero” WOD, or workout of the day, that's meant to honor those who have served in the armed forces. The Murph Challenge is a challenging, full-body workout that's often done in groups:
Run one mile
Do 100 pull-ups
Do 200 push-ups
Do 300 squats
Run one mile
