🐧🎓 JLA Parents & Families – 1st Nine Weeks Update! 💙🧡
Can you believe we are already wrapping up our first nine weeks of school?
As we close out this grading period, we encourage you to take a few minutes to check in with your student about their academic progress.
✅ Ask your student: How many course credits have you earned so far?
💻 Talk about Edgenuity: Which courses are you working on? How much progress have you made? Are you on track to complete your courses?
📱 Limit distractions: Encourage your student to put their cell phone aside and stay focused on completing assignments and earning credits.
🎓 Remember, every completed course brings your student one step closer to graduation!
Thank you, JLA parents and families, for your continued support and partnership. Together, we can help our Penguins stay motivated, focused, and on the path to success!

🦅 Kirby STEM Academy Falcons & 🐧 Judson Learning Academy Penguins

Dear Falcon and Penguin Families,

Kirby STEM Academy and Judson Learning Academy conducted a practice LOCKDOWN Drill today. LOCKDOWN drills are conducted to ensure that students and staff are familiar with the Standard Response Protocols and know how to respond appropriately should a LOCKDOWN ever occur on campus.

We are proud of our Falcons and Penguins for taking the drill seriously and following expectations. Our students and staff did an excellent job throughout the exercise. Following the drill, we will continue to review our procedures and collaborate with local first responders to identify any opportunities for continuous improvement.

The safety and security of our students and staff remain our highest priority. Thank you for your continued support as we work together to maintain a safe learning environment for everyone.

To learn more about the Standard Response Protocol and LOCKDOWN procedures, please view the following informational video:
