This week, Community Bible Church West invited us to their Youth Midweek Event, and we had such a great time! We got to connect with the students, play games, and enjoy an amazing night together. One of the most meaningful moments was joining in praise and worship and having the students pray over us.
Thank you, CBC West, for welcoming us and allowing us to be part of such a special evening. We truly enjoyed spending time with everyone and hope the students had as much fun as we did!

Congratulations to one of our very own SAFFE Officers, Officer Mercado! Today, he was honored with the Act of Valor Award for his extraordinary bravery while off duty. Without hesitation, Officer Mercado rescued an individual from a vehicle following a fiery collision, demonstrating true courage and selflessness.
For 25 years, Officer Mercado has proudly represented the Prue SAFFE Unit, continuing to inspire us with his dedication, professionalism, and commitment to serving others. We are beyond proud to stand alongside someone who shows such unwavering devotion to the citizens of San Antonio. Thank you for your service and for being a true example of what it means to protect and serve.

We had a great time spending the day with the students at St. Mary Magdalen School - San Antonio, TX! 🚔🍕
The class earned a Police Career Day/Pizza Party experience through their bid, and we were excited to be a part of it. Students had the chance to learn more about law enforcement, interact with officers, and even see our Raven Unit (drones) in action!
Thank you for welcoming us — we truly enjoyed the opportunity to connect with such an awesome group of students!

Last week, we had the pleasure of attending Career Day at NISD Ward Elementary! 🚔
Students had the opportunity to learn what a day in law enforcement looks like, ask questions, and check out some of the equipment officers use on the job. We always enjoy connecting with our community and sharing what we do.
Thank you to Ward Elementary for inviting us — we had a great time and look forward to coming back again soon! We hope the students enjoyed the experience and learned something new.
If you would like officers to attend your career day, please contact the SAFFE Unit assigned to your service area's substation.
