The park is located in the Stone Oak/Wilderness Oak area in North Central San Antonio. The park offers a much needed green space/outdoor recreation area in north central San Antonio. -2.5 miles of concrete trail, 8 feet wide, for walking, jogging, hiking and cycling;
-three rest areas/trail nodes.
-accessibility from three trailhead entrances: north, at 22635 Wilderness Oak (main entrance), south, at the back of the Parman Library near the outdoor book returns; and east at Wilderness Oak Elementary School near the south faculty parking lot.
-A 1.3 acre Dog Park divided for large and small dogs, with doggy drinking fountains.

-A 49 space parking lot at the main entrance area. Parking is also available at the Parman Library and at Wilderness Oak Elementary School during non-school hours.
