Wanted for attempted murder. Violent. On the run. Now in custody.
This week, the Central Texas Violent Crimes Task Force, working alongside our law enforcement partners, tracked down and arrested a dangerous fugitive wanted by Denver Police Department for attempted murder and other violent charges, and by Edinburg Police Department for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
When the subject fled, agencies across multiple counties mobilized immediately. The multi-county manhunt concluded with a coordinated felony vehicle stop on I-35 near New Braunfels, Texas. The arrest was part of "Operation No Escape" - the FBI's aggressive multi-agency effort to hunt down violent fugitives and bring them to justice.
No escape.
No safe haven.
Strong partnerships across state lines ensure violent offenders are brought to justice.
Thank you- Austin Police Department, Texas Department of Public Safety, Travis County Sheriff's Office, and Hays County Sheriff's Office for helping us keep our communities safe.
