The 412th CSB HQ and several MICC FSH personnel had a great day of fun and relaxation during a unit Organizational Day on Thursday 9 OCT 14.

Door prizes, sand volleyball, cards, billiards, and many other games and picnic food were enjoyed by all at the Sideliners Grill in San Antonio.

The 412th CSB HQ hosted a Hail and Farewell luncheon for two departing and two arriving Soldiers.
We said Farewell to MAJ Prado and his family. He is headed to a new assignment with the 408th CSB in Kuwait. We also said farewell to MAJ Foster and his family. We will miss both of these families and we wish them the best of luck !

New arrivals to the CSB HQ are CPT Knodel in the CSB HQ legal section and SFC Jeffries in the CSB HQ AMO office. Please extend a welcoming hand to both of these new Soldiers !

Hail and Farewell 3-2-14 04/04/2014

The 412th CSB held a Hail and Farewell on 2 April to welcome SSG Johnson and to farewell SFC Pascal.

SFC Pascal was presented a Meritorious Service Medal for his outstanding performance over the last three years.

Lt. Gen. Perry Wiggins pins a Purple Heart medal on Master Sgt. Robert Mangel March 7 at the Warrior and Family Support Center. Mangel was injured in Afghanistan March 29, 2013 when his vehicle convoy struck an improvised explosive device. He was serving with 1st Brigade Combat Team, 1st Armored Division. Wiggins is the commanding general for U.S. Army North (Fifth Army) and senior commander for Fort Sam Houston and Camp Bullis. Also pictured is Mangel’s mother, Julia Rodriguez.

Command Sergeant Major Hammond completed a command visit to MICC McCoy last week. Several outstanding employees were recognized at an awards ceremony and luncheon to include Ms Poppler receiving a Commander's Award for Civilian Service, and Ms Herrman receiving the Achievement Medal for Civilian Service. Commander/CSM Coins were presented to Ms. Gordon, Ms. Harris, Mr. Goben, Ms. Harvey and Ms. Brown. Ms Hoover also received her DAWIA Contracting Level II Certification.

We thank all of MICC McCoy for their outstanding performance and CSM Hammond for braving the Wisconsin cold weather !!!
