***JOB DESCRIPTION***
The Sales Associate is responsible to deliver world-class customer service. He/She needs to be UP-BEAT, FRIENDLY, CONFIDENT and WILLING to help our customers and LEARN anything they need to learn to get the job done (we will teach you what you need to know). Sales Associate should have some sales experience, strong computer and internet skills, a high school diploma/GED and a professional appearance.
*** Duties/ Responsibilities:***
Deliver outstanding customer service to walk-in customers and telephone inquiries
Receive and process packages for shipment, operates copiers, fax machines, binding equipment, key machine laminating machines, point-of-sale
devices and passport photo machine.
Provide accurate information on all our products and services
Excellent listening skills with customers, co-workers and management
Take ownership of the customer's shipping problem and offer viable solutions
Take action to learn all product and service offerings, alternative solutions, and industry trends
Operate all equipment, software, and devices and be willing to teach others
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Publisher, Power Point)
Maintain a clean and safe working environment. We are the cleaning crew.
*** RESPONSIBILITIES ***
Delivers outstanding customer service to walk-in customers and telephone inquiries
Continuously practices good listening skills with customers, UPS Store team members, and leadership
Takes ownership of the customer's shipping needs and offers viable solutions
Takes action to learn all product and service offerings, alternative solutions, and industry trends
Operates all equipment, software, and devices in an expert fashion and is willing to teach others
Maintains a clean and safe working environment
Is a team player and works well with co-workers
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or GED required
Retail/customer service experience
Good communication and people skills
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Adobe Suites
Outstanding phone skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills, including spelling and math
Prompt, reliable, and responsible
Able to lift 40+ pounds
Willing and able to work 25-40 hours per week.
