Downtown Tuesday is taking a summer siesta☀️😎 But don’t worry — Downtown Thursday is taking over🎉

To kick off Downtown Thursday, you’re invited to the Downtown Thursday Block Party on June 4 from 5 – 7 p.m. in Legacy Park (103 West Houston St.).

Bring your family and friends to this free, fun event, with live entertainment, food, fun activities, and giveaways.

Downtown Thursday also means FREE parking! Enjoy free parking at City-owned parking facilities on Thursday nights from 5 p.m. – 2 a.m.

Join us for the first public meeting of the River Walk Strategic Plan, an important community effort to shape the future of one of the nation’s most iconic public spaces.

This event will introduce the planning process, share what we hope to learn from residents and stakeholders, and provide opportunities for you to share your ideas, concerns, and vision for the River Walk’s next chapter.

📣During the meeting, attendees will:
- Learn about the goals and timeline of the Strategic Plan.
- Hear from project leaders and subject-matter experts.
- Participate in interactive activities designed to gather community input.
- Connect with staff and partners who are helping guide the process.
