Today marks the anniversary of D-Day, one of the most pivotal moments in history.

As I think about the young men who stepped onto those beaches in Normandy, many barely older than our own children, I’m humbled by their courage and sacrifice. Because of their willingness to serve, fight, and give everything for a cause greater than themselves, generations have lived in freedom.

Today, we remember those heroes with gratitude and honor the legacy they left behind. May we never take their sacrifice for granted.

District 9- this is for you too! You live in Bexar County then you should take the survey! Thanks y’all!

As we begin planning for the next fiscal year, I want to hear from you!

Over the past several weeks, my team has partnered with the UTSA Center for Public Opinion Research to develop a short, 5-minute survey that will help County leaders better understand the priorities of our community.

Your feedback will help guide important budget decisions and ensure your voice is part of the budget process.

📢 The survey closes Friday, June 19, so don't wait—take the survey today and share your priorities for the year ahead.

➡️ Take the survey: https://utsa.az1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_6FkhTixntMaMgLA

And save the date for our Pct. 3 Budget Town Hall with Judge Sakai. We’ll share the survey results and discuss the upcoming budget process. I hope to see you there.

Honored to join my colleagues, city officials and SAPD to commemorate the lives and sacrifices of the 62 police officers who have died in the line of duty throughout our city’s history.

To the men and women who work tirelessly to protect our neighborhoods, thank you.

Last week, it was an honor to attend SAPD’s Fallen Heroes Ceremony and join our community in remembering the brave officers who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty.

I am forever grateful for their service, courage, and dedication to protecting our city.

May we never forget our fallen heroes and the sacrifices made by them and their families. 💙🖤
