Bexar County Justice of the Peace, Precinct 1

Bexar County to close non-essential operations and facilities on Sunday, January 25, 2026 and Monday, January 26, 2026.
In line with local school districts and out of concern for staff and visitor safety, Bexar County facilities will be closed on Sunday, January 25, 2026 and Monday, January 26, 2026, due to inclement weather.
Existing court hearing dockets will be rescheduled. Please check with your respective Justice of the Peace, County or District court for updates once offices reopen.
Individuals scheduled for jury duty will be rescheduled.
All County parks and BiblioTech locations will be closed on Sunday, January 25, 2026 and Monday, January 26, 2026, however the all-digital public library is available online.
All notices and the most up to date information will be posted and shared on local print, broadcast and digital news media, on the County’s website at www.bexar.org and Bexar County social media sites.
Emergency and essential personnel will report as usual to their assigned work locations. If you are unsure of your status, please contact your immediate supervisor.

As per County Judge Peter Sakai, all County Offices and Departments will be closing early, Wednesday, June 11, 2025 at 3 p.m. in anticipation of increased traffic in and around the downtown area.
County Offices and Departments will resume normal operations on Thursday, June 12, 2025.

Emergency and essential personnel will continue to report as usual to their assigned work locations.
