Many state and local governments are implementing “lock down,” "stay at home," or "shelter in place" orders for citizens and temporary closures of "non-essential" businesses and services to combat the spread of Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19). It's critical for Armed Forces Recycling workforce to understand that we are part of the Defense Industrial Base Sector, which has been identified as a Critical Infrastructure Sector by the Department of Homeland Security. This means we perform a mission-essential function for our nation, and our employees are exempt from such restrictions. If needed we do provide PPE gear such as N95 masks, latex gloves, hand sanitizer, and disinfecting wipes to all employees. Armed Forces Recycling will continue to support our federal agencies and the warfighter mission.
