BC/ NSITE Alumni Spotlight:
Darold Williamson class of 2001. State champion, 200m, 400m. He is a 2005 graduate of Baylor University. He ran the anchor leg on the gold medal winning 4 × 400 meter relay team for the US at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens. He won World Championship gold medals on two subsequent relay teams. While at Baylor University, Williamson won the Big 12 Conference championship in the 400-meter run three years in a row from 2001 to 2003. He set a personal best of 44.27 seconds in the 400-meter run in the semifinals of the NCAA Outdoor Championships in 2005.
NSITE, formerly known as Business Careers High School is a business and technology "school within a school" located on the campus of Oliver Wendell Holmes High School.

Big congratulations to Sergio Perez on earning a $1,000 scholarship from the National Technical Honor Society! 🎉 Sergio was recognized for exemplifying the 7 attributes of NTHS and will attend the University of Houston this fall to major in Accounting. We’re so proud of your hard work and leadership!

Our entrepreneurship underclassmen are also ending the year strong! Mrs. Vasquez’s Entrepreneurship Class all attained their Small Business and Entrepreneurship Certification from Northwest Vista. With Elijah Walker earning an astounding 940/1000!
NSITE even had three freshmen attain the certification as well. This just goes to show the opportunities NSITE never fails to provide for our students, and the consistent success our students have in attaining them. Congratulations! ✨💚

Huge congratulations to our NSITE students for earning their Entrepreneurship & Small Business certifications! 🎉 Our VEI, senior class achieved a 100% ESB pass rate, with additional certifications earned by our IT cybersecurity and computer programming students. So proud of their hard work and dedication! 👏💼💻

Huge congratulations to the Holmes eSports team for dominating the R20 eSports Championships this weekend and bringing home 2 out of 3 city championships — officially making Holmes the top eSports team in San Antonio! Special recognition goes to Jose “Toffy!” Pineda, now the city’s most decorated champion, as well as seniors Michael Tran, Oscar Izguerra, Timothy Gonzalez, Caleb Nunez, and Matt La Guardia, whose four years of dedication and teamwork led to an unforgettable victory season. 🎮🔥
