SAN ANTONIO – (June 29, 2020) Machinist’s Mate (Auxiliary) 1st Class Shomari Cooper, of Killeen, Texas, assigned to Navy Recruiting District (NRD) San Antonio, re-enlisted in America’s Navy at Navy Recruiting Station (NRS) De Zavala. Cooper, a 2011 graduate of Belton High School in Belton, Texas, joined America’s Navy in 2012 becoming recruiter in 2018. Additionally, Copper will receive a Selective Re-enlistment Bonus of $30,000. Administering the oath was Lt. Michael Wojdyla, NRD’s Officer Operations Programs officer. NRD San Antonio’s area of responsibility includes more than 34 Navy Recruiting Stations and Navy Officer Recruiting Stations spread throughout 144,000 square miles of Central and South Texas territory.
