Richard enrolled in the YES! Program in January 2019, to receive support in obtaining a full-time job and to explore the possibility of joining the military. He stated he had limited abilities and had not found a program that could work with his challenges so that he could become successful in life and in a career. Richard was connected to Restore Education for tutoring services, Job Coach, Victoria (Retired Veteran) and Army Recruiter Mr. Arnold to assist in action steps to keep moving forward to meet his goals. Richard was accepted into the Army on October 11th, 2019 after passing the ASVAB! Richard was deployed for Basic Training on January 20th, 2020 and to train as a Wheel Mechanic. He repeatedly expressed his gratitude for the patience, the assistance to walk him slowly through steps he needed to make to reach his goal of joining the Military as all the men in his family had done before him. Richard has kept in contact with the YES! Program and reported he is doing great and excited in his new Military Career in the Army.

Juan joined the YES! Program June of 2019 with dreams of working in Information Technology. While he had work history and skills he did not yet have experience in the IT industry. Juan had heart, drive, and determination to reach his goals. With the assistance of the YES! program he enrolled into the COMPTIA Bootcamp to gain high level certifications such as Security +, A+, and Network +.

After successfully completing the COMPTIA Program and receiving his certifications Juan was hired for an IT company contracted by USAA. We are extremely proud of Juan and wish him the best his future endeavors.
