Today, all of our students from PK through 5th grade had the absolute pleasure of welcoming author and illustrator Matthew McElligott!
Our PK–3rd graders got an inside look at how he writes and illustrates his books, breaking down the publishing process and sharing the creative magic behind his artwork!
Meanwhile, our 4th and 5th graders, who have been reading his novel Benjamin Franklinstein Lives, learned all about the deep research he did alongside co-author Larry Tuxbury, packed with fascinating history about Franklin's life!
To top it off, this week, is the official release of his brand new book, Project Woof! 🎉
A huge, THANK YOU to our wonderful PTA for funding these amazing library events and making visits like this possible for our students!
