The new 2011 - 2012 AEIS report is up for John Marshall High School.

Last year we talked about the average SAT score (Math and Reading) which was 978. For the school year 2011 - 2012 the average SAT scores are the following.

State Average score = 976
District Average = 979
JMHS = 968

A new statistic line they added to the AEIS report is the "At/Above Criterion" (Standard). John Marshall had a Criterion rating of 24.4%. This means that 24.4% of the students that took the SAT's at John Marshall made a score that would be required to meet to not take remedials when entering college. This means that 75.6% of those that take the SAT's at John Marshall would end up taking remedials if they decided to go to college.

Sacha Lancaster graduated from Marshall in 1997 and went on to play for the Arkansas. His most memorable moment in college football is when he sacked Tom Brady in the 1997 Citrus Bowl. He went on to play in NFL Europe and Arena Football and currently playing for the Jacksonville Sharks in Arena Football League.

In 1991 John Marshall High School lost to Odessa Permain 27 - 14. Friday Nigh Lights was based on Odessa 1988 Football team that later went on to win the State Championship with one being against the John Marshall Rams. Nice to be part of history, would of been great to win that game though. Great players such as Preist Holmes and ND Kalu played that game.
