On Friday, Mrs. Flores' Pre-K class topped off their Pet Unit with a STEM activity! They used various materials (paper towel tubes, yarn, cotton, etc.) and designed and built shelters for their pets (plastic bears). They talked about why shelter is important and what the pets might like in their shelter. They also learned about why it’s important to have a plan before they started building and learned how to work together!
