59 MDW Top III Community Service Activity Reminder:
SA Food Bank, Sat, 30 June 12 - Leaders, here is the address for the SA Food Bank: 5200 Old Highway 90 West | San Antonio, TX 78227
210-337-3663 | 800-246-9121
Easiest way I've found to get there is if you're coming from Sea World, stay on 151 and you'll see the Food Bank on the right. If you're coming from Randolph/highway 90, take the Sea World 151 exit then there will be an exit on the right for the Food Bank. On behalf of the Community Service Committee, thanks for supporting Top III initiatives in the community. - MSgt Jones
Leaders,
On behalf of the Top 3 Community Service Committee, our next activity is this Saturday, 30 June from 0900-noon at the SA Food Bank off of highway 90 E. Leading the charge against hunger in South Texas is MSgt Jennifer Tejada (lead SNCO) and she needs our support. We'll be working in the food bank's warehouse to sort food/prep food boxes that will be distributed to 500 support agencies to feed families in 16 counties. We require 30 volunteers and have 21 signed up, so we're almost there. If you wish to bring your kids, the age requirement is 8 yrs old. Please be there NLT 0845 to sign our group liability form and dress comfortably in T-shirts/polos, long or short pants and closed toe shoes. Recommend bringing a lightweat jacket or sweat shirt (in the past, we have gotten pulled to work in the freezer!!). To sign up simply contact MSgt Tejada at 671-9325 or email her. Thanks, MSgt Jones
