🪩 2025 was a year of serious struggle and growing power for San Antonio PSL. From political education, art builds, and organizing out of the San Antonio Liberation Center— sanantonioliberationcenter to mobilizing in the streets, we deepened our roots across the city and strengthened working-class solidarity.

✊ This year we helped organize Texas’ first-ever Women’s Socialism Conference, took anti-war action in solidarity with Iran, Venezuela, Palestine, and others targeted by U.S. imperialism, and deployed to Central Texas and Kerrville after the deadly July 4th floods to help clean up and rebuild. We fed our community, responded to ICE terror, and took on campaigns to support San Antonio and its working class. A better world IS possible, and we want to build it together!

🔥 We continued organizing for Black liberation, q***r liberation, and immigrant justice, because organizing in the South is not optional, it’s essential. This is where oppression is concentrated and where revolutionary power must be built.

🌹 We want to thank everyone that has gotten involved with the movement to win liberation for all working class and oppressed peoples, either by attending rallies, volunteering your time, or joining our branch! None of this happens without collective effort. This movement is for the people, by the people! Join us for another year of struggle and action using either the link in our bio, or the Party Action Network link above!!!

🇻🇪THE REVOLUTION WILL NOT BE TELEVISED - FILM SCREENING RECAP 🇻🇪

🎥 This weekend, the was filled with community and solidarity as we screened "The Revolution Will Not Be Televised", followed by discussion and a raffles for revolutionary art, posters, and books!

⏳️ In a critical moment of escalating U.S. aggression—blockades, bombings, and piracy against Venezuela—this film grounded us in a historical pattern: the centuries-old U.S. playbook of dominating Latin America. We discussed our duty to expose the lies and stand against another war for oil.

🗣 Inspired by the Venezuelan people’s example in the film, we were reminded: organized, informed people power can resist empire and defend sovereignty.

✊🏽NO WAR ON VENEZUELA! FUND PEOPLE'S NEEDS, NOT THE WAR MACHINE!

☕ HISTORIC STARBUCKS WORKERS STRIKE! ☕

👏 Our deepest and warmest congratulations to the Starbucks Workers United Union for their historic two week strike!

🔥 While Texas, a right to work state, works tirelessly to bust unions and fires workers who dare to advocate for dignified and safe working conditions, the 12711 Blanco Road Starbucks workers successfully closed their store for TWO WEEKS to demand better pay, better hours, and an end to unfair labor practices and union busting.

✊ The SBWU strike is a reminder that workers make the world run, so workers should run the world! Do not underestimate the fight back movement in the South!

❌☕️ NO WORKERS, NO STARBUCKS: Dignity for Every Barista NOW‼️
🗓️ Saturday, Dec 20
⏰ 11AM
📍12711 Blanco Road

☕️ We continue to stand in solidarity with as unionized Starbucks workers at 12711 Blanco Road brave the third week of the national Red Cup Rebellion strike against the coffee giant- the largest offender of unfair labor practices in modern history.

📄 A Fair Contract NOW!
The workers’ demands remain clear, simple, and more than reasonable: Better Hours, Higher Take-Home Pay, Resolution for Hundreds of Unfair Labor Practices and an End to Union Busting! At a company where CEO Brian Niccol’s total “earnings” were 6,666 times that of the median US barista this past fiscal year, these demands are the BARE minimum!

✊ Workers Support Workers!
This Saturday, December 20, we are once again calling on ALL community members to join us and on the picket line to amplify these demands and celebrate the first unionized Starbucks workers in San Antonio to enter the national ULP strike!

💪 A fight for workers anywhere is a fight for workers everywhere!

Come 2026, anywhere from 5-10 million people across the U.S. could lose their healthcare coverage due to sweeping federal changes. In Texas, approximately 1.4 million could be impacted. This could bring the total percentage of uninsured across the state to 20%, the steepest increase in the nation.

Let's be clear: the Trump administration’s escalating war on healthcare was made possible by the Democrats’ surrender following their failed government shutdown tactic. New Medicaid work requirements, rising premiums, and the expiration of Affordable Care Act subsidies will stand to have disastrous impacts for poor and working class people across the country.

Healthcare should be a fundamental public human right, especially in the richest country in the history of the world – not a luxury to be bought and sought for billionaires to make more profits. Hands off our healthcare!

TEXAS SAYS NO TO AI DATA CENTERS!

Millions of Americans could suddenly lose electricity this winter as the nation’s power grids deal with increased strain from the surge in new artificial intelligence data centers opening across the country. Texans, in particular, could face grave consequences with the expansion of data centers across the state and the already-strained power grid that experienced a devastating outage during a historic winter storm in recent years.
