Our condolences
The Bexar County Sheriff’s Office is mourning the loss of Deputy Noah Calderon, 20.
Deputy Calderon, who started his career with the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office in July of 2018, was the first deputy to join at the age of 18 years old, as the BCSO’s first ever ‘Blue Shirt’ deputy. Deputy Calderon was assigned to the Detention Bureau and was planning on attending the Basic Peace Officer’s Academy to work on obtaining his Texas Peace Officer’s License.
Deputy Calderon, who was off-duty at the time of the accident, was travelling to Corpus Christi, TX with his fiancée and his younger brother. Deputy Calderon and his fiancée succumbed to injuries as a result of the accident, while his younger brother was airlifted back to San Antonio by AirLIFE, where he remains in critical condition. The Calderon family are in need of your prayers at this time.
Deputy Noah Calderon leaves behind his father, East Patrol Sergeant Edward Calderon, his mother Kristie, his sister Celina, sister in law Iris, and his brothers Luke, Ryan, and Joshua. As an agency we are mourning the loss of this bright and young deputy who had a very promising career ahead of him, he will be greatly missed.
