Japanese Tea Garden

The Japanese Tea Garden is open every day from dawn until dusk and admission is free. Summer hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and is open 7 days a week.

The Japanese Tea Garden, adjacent to the Sunken Garden Theater in Brackenridge Park, features beautiful floral displays, a waterfall and a safe habitat for new Koi and aquatic plants. It is an extraordinary example of the reuse of an old rock quarry which dates back to 1899 and remnants can still be seen in the gardens architecture.
