Congratulations to Lt. Col. Jonathan Pentel and Lt. Col. Michael Johnson of Medical Readiness Command – Alpha on winning the Pickleball Health Cup Championship!
We are proud to celebrate MRC – Alpha as champions of the STC-ACHE (South Texas Chapter – American College of Healthcare Executives) Inaugural Pickleball Health Cup 2026!
On April 25, 2026, 18 teams representing 11 local healthcare systems – including Christus Children’s, Army Medicine, Baptist Health System, Medical Command, Nordic Global, Brooke Army Medical Center, University Health, Army-Baylor MHA/MBA University, UIW, and UTSA – came together at for a day of spirited competition, team building, and networking.
This tournament was created to unite healthcare leaders from across San Antonio’s healthcare market, fostering camaraderie and healthy fun. MRC – Alpha’s outstanding teamwork and dedication led them to victory, and they were officially presented the trophy on June 1, 2026.
