The Wet Paint Project (WPP) is an outreach program of the JBSA SAPR Program where we have art-based activities and events for our installation members. At these events we have the opportunity to speak about Self-Care, Awareness, Prevention, Resiliency, and Recovery.

On June 9th, our amazing leadership at AFPC/DPFZ participated in a Wet Paint Project (WPP) event! These phenomenal leaders incorporated what they stand for, which is the importance of ensuring that we embrace resiliency as a whole. Not only was this a team building event for them, but a time to participate in a self-care and resilience-based activity! They are indeed leading by example!

Check out their abstract masterpieces! They are beautifully displayed for others to have the opportunity to see how fun self-care and participating in resiliency activities can be!

We had such a blast at the 37th Training Group's Sport's Day! The Air Force and Navy students couldn't wait to participate in this Resiliency and Self-Care initiative at the Wet Paint Project table! Some of them even took their paints on the sidewalk and curbs to ensure that they had the opportunity to paint with their fellow service members! Check out all these smiles and talent!

During the month of May for Mental Health Awareness Month, JBSA SAPR had supported our students while they are in training. As a joint base, we had the opportunity to not only work with Air Force students, but also Army and Navy students.

The phenomenal events that we had to opportunity in leading and supporting were Wet Paint Projects that included Air Force, Army, and Navy students; the 37th Training Group's Annual Showcase; and the 37th Training Group's Sports Day that included Navy students. We even had the opportunity to work with families on JBSA at a Sport's Day!

During the month of April, Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month (SAAPM), JBSA SAPR had supported our students while they are in training. As a joint base, we had the opportunity to not only work with Air Force students, but also Military Training Leaders and Student Cadre/Instructors at a student organized and led SAAPM Spartan Challenge on JBSA-Lackland for all Air Force students in technical school. We also had the opportunity to collaborate with the JBSA-Fort Sam Houston's MFRC to support Wet Paint Project Resiliency and Self-Care events with Drill Sergeants and Army students at the 188th Medical Battalion on Fort Sam Houston.
