The Edgewood ISD Police Department would like to wish the San Antonio Spurs good luck on game 1 of the NBA Finals. To show our support we created a Spurs/Wemby themed patch!

It melts our hearts when students look up to our police officers. This student wanted to dress like Officer Fernandez today.

Friday was the last day of Police Week 2026. We provided hamburgers, hotdogs and cake for lunch. We had such a great time!

We’d like to thank Grunt Style for providing items as prizes for our raffle. It was a very nice touch to complete our week!

A letter from Chief Quiroga to EISD Police Officers:

As Police Week comes to an end, I want to take a moment to sincerely thank the men and women of the Edgewood ISD Police Department.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for the work you do every day to protect our students, staff, families, campuses, and community. Police work is not easy. It requires sacrifice, patience, courage, and a deep commitment to serving others, often without recognition.

I want each of you to know that you are the department. Your professionalism, dedication, and willingness to show up for this district are what makes our mission possible.

I am truly blessed and very lucky to be part of your team. Thank you for who you are, what you do, and the difference you make every single day.

With all my respect,

Chief Quiroga
