We have a Hardy Oak winner! Our 3rd-5th grade Bluebonnet readers have read and voted. It was a very close race, but they selected Act by Kayla Miller as their favorite title this year. We can't wait to see which book other students all around the state voted for!

Our sweet & talented Librarian of the Day did a fabulous job! Caroline helped students check out books. She checked in many, many books, helped with technology issues, supported teachers, assisted students in locating books, assisted with lessons, delivered goodies to teachers via the Kindness Cart, assisted with the fire drill, and sooooo much more! I’m betting that she was pretty wiped out by the end of the day. We were busy!

3rd graders enjoyed hearing writer Kate Messner discuss her research & writing process for her nature series. We loved hearing her read her latest book as we discovered animals on the pages.

First graders enjoyed learning about our skeleton as we read Give Me Back My Bones & placed the bones on display to create our skeleton.

The library hosted some 3rd & 5th graders for a virtual author visit by award winning author Kate Messner. She spoke about plagues & pandemics, along with her History Smashers series. What great experience.

Our kinder & 1st grade friends spent last week learning about matter’s various meanings & exploring properties of matter.

We have been busy in the library learning about people who have made a mark & impacted society in a positive way with our 2nd-4th graders. They had a great time digging into PebbleGo!
