After receiving numerous amazing entries for our poster contest, we are excited to announce our winner: Leah P. from Taft HS! We can't wait to see this design all around Northside next year. We already have some GREAT authors confirmed to put on it. 🎉

My last two meetings with the ALE students were so much fun. We read Earth Yay! and painted garden rocks, checked out books, created pinwheels for summer fun days, and checked out books! The last group was particularly special because they’re all seniors and it’s the last time I’ll ever have them 💗 👨‍🎓 👩‍🎓

Exciting day for the Comics Club! They had the opportunity to meet G. Willow Wilson, the author of Ms. Marvel. The students left inspired and pumped up!

Had a lot of fun on our library tour day this last Saturday with my Library Crew! We started at BiblioTech where students explored the digital services and signed up for library cards, had lunch at HemisFair Park, and finished off the day at the Central Public Library where we got to see the art exhibits, shop at the Book Cellar, check out books, and hang out at the teen library. Thank you Bexar BiblioTech and San Antonio Public Library for having us!

Late post: I want to give a shoutout to our art teacher, Ms. Woods, and to her Art 2 students for contributing to our celebration of with these pictures! We displayed them around the library during this week. They did such a great job!
