The UT San Antonio Supplier Vendor Networking Breakfast, Powered by CPS Energy was a great opportunity to make connections with small businesses and have meaningful conversations about government contracting.

A special thank you to Torence Henderson for providing an informative overview of how to do business with the Alamo Colleges District (ACD). Attendees learned about ACD’s vendor registration system and how to find contracting and purchasing opportunities throughout the district.

Bexar County Small Business & Entrepreneurship Department was also there to connect with small businesses interested in doing business with Bexar County. We also shared information about our upcoming “Doing Business with Bexar County” workshop on October 21, about how to navigate the procurement process at the County.

Thank you to Mayor Michael Martinez for inviting us to participate in National Night Out in the City of Sandy Oaks!

It was a wonderful opportunity to connect with Sandy Oaks residents, talk about starting a small business, and share information about resources available to help entrepreneurs get started and grow.

A special shout-out to Deputy Jonathan Mamino with the Bexar County Sheriff’s Department for providing materials about their Crime Prevention Programs for us to share with the Sandy Oaks community.

The evening brought the community together with food, music, and giveaways, along with representatives from Bexar County Pct.1 Commissioner Rebeca Clay-Flores’ Office, Bexar County Constable Pct. 1 Ruben C. Tejedas' Office, Bexar County ESD 6, Sandy Oaks Police Department, and Sandy Oaks Animal Control.

Thank you to everyone who came out and made National Night Out a great opportunity for community connection and engagement!

The Northside Business Association Business Networking Luncheon brought local business owners together for an opportunity to connect and build valuable business relationships.

Attendees exchanged business cards and had the opportunity to give a 30-second introduction about their business, providing a great way to learn more about the businesses and their products and service.

We shared information about opportunities to do business with Bexar County and the upcoming Bexar County Business Conference on December 9.
