What a pleasure it was to co-host with St. Helena’s for the Spurs Game 2 Watch Party. The energy of this community is unmatched. Go Spurs go!

Yesterday, I was proud to join my colleagues and neighbors for the groundbreaking of the new Asian Resource Center in San Antonio.

This center will celebrate the rich cultural heritage of our Asian community while providing important resources that strengthen opportunities for future generations.

Congratulations to everyone who helped make this vision a reality. I look forward to the positive impact this center will have on our community for years to come.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for tonight’s SAWS Town Hall. One of the greatest strengths of our community is the willingness of neighbors to show up, ask questions, share concerns, and stay engaged in the issues that affect our daily lives.

I’m proud to represent a district filled with thoughtful residents who care deeply about the future of our city. Thank you for making your voices heard.

Apparently, the budget conversations happening in San Antonio are resonating in Austin too.

When we put together a list of programs worth reconsidering this cycle, the goal was simple, make sure every dollar in the City’s budget is actually earning its place. No sacred cows, no automatic renewals just because something has always been funded.

Glad to see other cities asking the same questions.

Join us for a Spurs Watch Party on June 5th at St. Helena’s Dolan Center!

Come cheer on the Spurs as they take on the Knicks in Game 2 of the NBA Finals. This will be an outdoor event, so be sure to bring your own lawn chair and get comfortable for a great night of basketball, food, and community.

Hot dogs will be provided courtesy of the Knights of Columbus while supplies last.

We look forward to seeing you there as we cheer on our hometown team together.
