Thank you to our guest speaker at last night’s Annual Membership Meeting, David Stone, Travis Park United Methodist Church. Thank you also to all our members who joined us for this excellent presentation. And finally congratulations to the newly elected officers and directors, see everyone at the June 24th installation.

The Conservation Society enjoyed attending an event hosted by Dr. Ericka Arrendondo-Haskins, "Like Mother, Like Daughter" on May 21st. The Yturri family received awards from Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) Honorary Regent Debbie Werner with the author of the paper Dr. Arredondo-Haskins. It was a great National Historic Preservation Month event by the Bexar County Historical Commission and Belinda Gavallos.

Downtown San Antonio’s historic Hertzberg Clock ticks again The Conservation Society of San Antonio and interested residents met at the downtown corner of N. St Mary’s and Houston streets. to celebrate the restoration of the clock installed in downtown San Antonio.

The historic Hertzberg clock is now right more than twice a day.

The Hertzberg Clock is up and running in San Antonio San Antonio’s iconic Hertzberg Clock is ticking after two years of restoration. Check it out on the corner of E. Houston and N. St. Mary’s.

Thank you to everyone who joined us today at the Hertzberg clock. It was the perfect day. Now on to the next project for preservation.

This brief ceremony will be held at the corner of 175 E. Houston Street at St. Mary’s Street in celebration of National Historic Preservation Month and the Hertzberg Clock’s return to service! Meet the person who restored the clock to its operational condition and get a peek at its inner workings. We will meet you at The Clock tomorrow!
